Seborrhea dermatitis

A disease that causes flaking of the skin, white or yellowish scales to form an oily area such as the scalp (call dandruff) or inside the ear. Cradle crap is the term to use when the Seborrhea Dermatitis affects the scalp of infants. It can affect to different body areas, especially where the skin is oily or greasy.

You can treat flaky and dryness of the dandruff with medicated or over-the-counter shampoo. Active ingredients in these shampoos include salicylic acid, coal tar, zinc, resorcin, ketoconazole, or selenium.
